Derek Rush of Dream Into Dust has been a club DJ for classic nights in NYC (including Communion, Batcave, Tocsin, Alchemy, Dogs Blood Rising, Absolution).
Mixing style includes long crossfades and custom remixes, usually focusing on flow rather than beatmatching. Often centered on Electro-Industrial with a bit of Goth, but can add in or Ethereal, Shoegaze, Neoclassical, Downtempo, Darkstep, Dubstep, Powernoise depending on the event.
The soundcloud link features 3 mixes, and he is also responsible for a secret (unofficial) Depeche Mode megamix. He is doing a guest radio set for Mad EP focusing on dark Bass music on Sub.FM in late October 2010.
