EnzymeXVIII – Our 18th event celebrating the diversity of Melbourne independent music. To start the new year with a bang, we have assembled a range of talented local Melbourne electronic artists, combining forces for a special night of audio and visual performance. Final artist listing is under development, however confirmed performers include:
Deep drones, sacred frequencies and sacred geometric animated visuals combine to create a psychedelic visionary meditative experience. Abre Ojos is the improvised audiovisual project of Scott Baker fusing analogue modular synthesis and digital vision into deep listening experiences touching on the work of Alan Lamb, Steve Roach and Robert Rich.
Dense seething soundscapes using abstracted field recordings, made from localized surroundings and treated with generated electronic material. Amnion is also concerned with ideas related to surround sound and sonic immersion, both in production and performance.
Established industrial, experimental rhythmic noise artist BasticH will perform a solo laptop set. Featuring a range of beats and noises ranging from ambient to intense.
A special solo electronic performance from James Cain and his Space Rock project! Previously referred to as "The Primus of Electronica!" Baz Bardoe (Sunsaria/Psyburbia) - Composer/Producer/DJ/Warrior and "Floyd on E!" Nuno McBrain (Guitarist/Sorceror).
DJ Infectious Unease has no fear of delivering a sound of surprise. You just never know what he will seduce, tantalise and drive all your five senses into. With these events he will be assaulting your senses with the sound of trip hop, Dubstep, break beats, drum and bass, electronic and hard edge Industrial, Glitch, techno, Psy-Trance, Goa and beyond.
