comment :: Compilation seeks artists.
Hi:

I got invited by a label (http://www.roilnoise.com/) to contribute to a compilation CD which will be put on the market at least as 100 copies. They are looking for fuck the mainstream type of music (guess enough of that here) and INTERNATIONAL collaborations. So you should team up with each other. I will be actually submitting a remix of a track from Ghouldetail which I severly further fucked up (with his permission) and I will submit it as a collab if he likes what I did (so that would be England-PR collab). So look for partnering up with an international project and submit your tracks ;).

I'm more than willing to submit a track. "Vuin at Vükt+" would possibly be my best bet at a track for it. Do you want me to give it to you (that is, if you want it) or directly to the organization you linked to?

Regards,
Scott

Hey, I'd love to do a song of yours Schadenfreude. If you don't mind, I'd like to do 'To Hope is to Fear,' but if you have something better in mind, mention it. Lord knows I haven't been able to listen to everything you've got done...:)

That is, of course, if you don't mind me doing it.

Sure, no problem, but, due to a computer crash, I lost all the original source material. If you still want to do it, you'll probably have to work from the mp3.

I have the source material for most of my newer stuff, but only if you use FL, exporting everything to separate .wavs would probably result in crap, due to the on-the-fly nature of most of the noises in my music.

Ok, I'm a bit confused...

Can I remix a song from another artist from a different nation and submit it? Is that what you're asking for?

Thanks,
SM

Thanks for the heads-up about this compilation. I might submit a Death Pact International track for it since they are all international collaborations.

well, I definitely like what RI's done to my track. Not sure, but I might even prefer it to the original.
Good work.
SUBMIT IT NOW! ;)

Hi all: ok, a couple of answers to your questions.

First and foremost, I am not roil noize, so it might be a good idea if you get in touch with them directly.

Second, I think they are very open to what you might submit. In the end its up to them. As long as its not mainstream its ok I think. Be creative. So gackie's Indisco might work as well as a remix of a track from an project somewhere in the world or an authentic track if you are somewhere in the world. But hey, please ask them.

To Ghouldetail: I will be doing so.

Ah, damn. The program I use isn't too good for remixing the whole mp3. And I don't have FL.

Dok V - Schadenfreude might be able to help there........

Roil noise was very happy btw with the Ghouldetail/Randominsults submission "Death Train" (the rise and fall of totalitarism) and Rubbish will even make the art for the track for us - yeah. I think I found good friends.

Yeah, I too sent some stuff - he went sofar as to say I was the best "industrial" music he had recieved! I guess he's using my stuff and he's working on a remix of my tracks as we speak. I'm pretty excited. Who else here got through?
