comment :: Why I needed the loudspeaker effect
Ok here is the song Walmart, if Walmart was a deathcamp (its not far from it) it would sound like this. I made the loudspeaker effect by calling myself and putting one phone to the mic and taking into the other phone, then putting it through reverb, delay, and some EQ, I also made the feedback with the 2 phones. Its very much influenced by the songs Discipline and Zyclone B Zombie, only with a touch of Gacky in other words some beautiful emotional melodies about halfway through. I've been giving you guys way to many songs for free NO MORE, you are ALL buying my CD when it comes out.

Enjoy

Awesome track. The quality of the feedback from the phones sounded surprisingly well. I wish I
would have thought of that before I busted my cb-radio trying to give it 1/4" out.

I'll make sure I give this a listen when I go back to work tomorrow and get on their broadband connection. My dial-up at home laughs at me while my hair grows waiting for things to download

Nice! I love the feedback. The voice effect is also quite nice. Do you know when you might be able to get your next CD out? I have been enjoying your last one.

Just out of curiosity, what are you looking for in a label? Why don't you self-release? Would the label help with promotion and distribution? I may have enough good material for a CD soon and am pondering which way to go...

Love this track man! It's just beautiful. Very bleak sounding. Cool arrangement too. I'd prefer to hear a bit tougher drums, but as they are they work too, just a matter of taste.

About the only thing I'd suggest is using a DeEsser on the vocals, as there is some serious sibilance here and there, mostly caused by the "processing".

I want a label that can:

A. Manufacture the CD
B. Promote the CD well (ie: magazines, zines, DJs ect.)
C. Distrubute the CD well

I don't have the money, time or connections to do that myself. Self releasing is good, but it can only take you so far, and it takes a lot of work. Its really tough label hunting, sending out a bunch of demos half of whic probably won't be listened to, but I persist. Its a shame DTA went under, that was an awesome label.
