comment :: good software program for producing percussive noise
Howdy,
I'm in search of a good software program for producing "percussive noise music" (in the same vein as Winterkalte). Anybody got any suggestions?
Cheers,
William

You'll need a good sampler, and a sequencer. The rest is up to you ;)

it's not so much the software, but your imagination....

you can make rhythmic noise with just about anything that has a drum machine style step sequencer & a few distortion fx.

Just to piss you off even more Lohr: I recently did see Terrorfact - and you are right - they are not better than your stuff. And Moron is wrong - live music doesn't mean you actually play it live - it is sufficient you claim you do. Extatic nodding of the head is important though. It seems.....ah, and "good" video footage.....very impressive indeed.....

i'm not pissed off, nor do i see why you expect me to be... But anyhow, after hearing "Cold Steel World", i realized that Terrorfakt is down right awesome. I made that statement you speak of wayyy back when all i heard was the old "Deconstruction" album, he has improved drastically since then.

It is 2 guys in Terrorfakt. I do not think their stuff is better than yours. I might say that it isn't bad for me, but I still think it is a bit too redundant. They had actually one track that I would sort in as somewhat industrial while most of their stuff is pretty techno with a lot of distortion on it (like what you expect from power noise). I have their CD Cold Steel World and it doesn't impress me all that much.
