"I remember when I was around 7 years old I had to climb 10 floors with buckets of water in my hands because we didn't have tap water for several days... and the electricity was out, so no elevator either. When you live in such circumstances, the people tend to be more vocal about their descent, and there are more people who'll think 'wow, there's something wrong with this picture'."
Conservatives aren't as sturdy in their resolve as they make themselves out to be. Take ANY of these "mommy-dearest" anti-war activists. They were all for killing Arabs till their kids did the largest splits you'll ever see; now all of a sudden they're "infuriated".
I was never for invading Iraq, but I don't sympathize with these people. "Boo-hoo, Bush is a war criminal, waaaahhhh!!! *blubber blubber*". True enuff, but you're the dumb bitch who encouraged your son to go kill Arabs... Self-absorbed, weak, and stupid. Unless it happens to THEM, they couldn't care less. This is how most people think.
One of these days a very big nuke is going to give a very big city a very rude awakening. Virtually EVERY PERSON in this country will be affected, not just tightass Republican soccer moms. Everyone. The American people need to know what war is. Right now they have no fucking clue. Bring war home, and people will wake up... either that or Dick'n'Bush'll declare Martial Law, and everybody'll put a fucking flag on their flipping door, (I shudder to think). I really don't want to see this or any other country get nuked, but it's looking more and more like an inevitability.
Cheers,
William
