What can I say, this piece is a classic. I first played one a couple years after they were released and ended up aquiring one of my own last year. I have used it mostly for metallic FM pad sounds, but have also created a few very thick bass sounds. To someone used to newer synths, this baby might be hard to program and hard to play since there is virtually no way to 'cheat' with this synth. But to us vintage-mongers its a sweet digital dream from 1983. For those interested, the Dx7 can be heard extensivly on our upcoming release, regression. -thomas
