This box has served us well live for the last couple of years. Triggering from 2 pairs of old Simmons pads has worked pretty much flawlessly. It would get say 9/10 for this. The downside is that the electronic sounds aren't too good, and overall the sounds have something of an american feel. So 5/10 for sounds. I would only get this box as a live tool, and for that it delivers.
