The BassStation hangs on in my rack not as a synth but mostly as filter unit and CV converter. The strength of this synth is its nice and dirty filter sound with 4-pole and 2-pole modes, the latter being very useful for processing external audio. As a synth the oscillator sound is poor but this is masked with lots of resonance. Although the modulation is basic (2 env + lfo) it's quite enough with midi control of parameters when using the unit as a filter box. (the BS keyboard has no audio input, no CV/Gate, no sync and just a few memories so I would not recommend it)
