It's a good phrase sampler. But I have to deduct alot of points for the price. It's just not a good deal, peeps. For this price you can get a 2nd hand Asr-x Black with extra RAM, and that will absolutely shit on this thing. For $500 it should have SCSI, not SM cards. The Zoom Sampletrak still beats the Es-1 in the bang for buck category...$500 will get you alot of sampling power now. 500 bucks = Ensoniq Asr-X Black, Emu Esi-32 with maxed RAM, Akai s1000 or s2000 with extra RAM, and the list goes on. This is second place in the phrase sampler category IMO. The Zoom ST224 has more effects, can do most the stuff this can do plus stuff it can't do for about $200 less. Greedy greedy Korg.
