Mid 80's digital polyphonic synthesizer. The DW-8000 was release soon after the 6000, and the 8000 featured increased polyphony and more voices. Overall opinions of it are that is a good budget synth. Consensus is that if you can spare the extra money, you should get the 8000. I have heard that the 6000 has some unique waveforms, but I am not sure about that.
