Pretty nice sounds, almost like a real analog, and function for adding some sway to the tuning of oscillators to emulate VCOs. Extensive functions, needs a keyboard or sequencer to play, but there is a preview function for sound programming. Easy to use, after browsing through the manual (which gave me a headache). Nice FX, except for the distortion which was a bit too over the top (well most of you might think otherwise). The drum sounds are surpricingly editable, they can ran through the FX processors. A different pitch, filter and amplitude envelope, playback pitch and fx on/off setting can be defined for each drum sound. Which makes it almost like a real drum module. Unfortunately there are only 2 user drum maps, but on the other hand there are about 5 octaves of drum sounds in one bank. The presets for synth and drum sounds are very trance orientated (some of them pretty good btw), but this isn't a groove box so make your own. The user interface is almost completely done with knobs and sliders, some parameters are set from the numeric display, but fortunately there are no menus.

A good unit for EBM or Indutrial dance. Extra points for the fact that LFOs and FX can synced to midi clock.
