First of all it is an amazing software, but it has it's down sides too. You cant record any out side instrument with it unless it's MIDIed. Yes you can load wav files into it's sampler player or loop player but that is a work around. Can get it cracked for cheap and that is a bonus. I wrote all Halflife's songs on it with the help of VST in rewire mode, check it out WWW.HALFLIFEMUSIC.COM (so, what album). Use an out side processor like tube limiter/compressor with it to fatten up the reason tracks they are too tiny compare to nord lead, waldorf etc...and than record the fat tracks into vst or what have you mix it and the end use some mastering software or hardware. Reason works very good on a P4 1.2ghz 512mb ram PC with a good sound card with low latency and midi on the card so you can play or trigger all those fucked up noises on your keys/controller. I give two thumbs up for this amazing software!
