The key to good drone music is flow. If your drones don't flow then they get boring and redundant quick. Luckily, ENT understand this. While "Fuck Work" (great title, and I totally agree with it's sentiment) isn't what you would normally call drone, functionally it is because it often stays in the same place yet has enough flow and change to make it really kickass.
There are a shitload of sounds on this disc, from junky guitar meets screwdriver twang to cold minimal bursts to totally screwy plunderphonics noise. Overall there is a very apparent sense of humor here (especially on the last track, which features a weird ass country sample), yet they balance it out with the seriousness of the tunes. As previously mentioned there is a lot of guitar here, but other stuff was used too. At times things get kind of glitchy and sometimes the disc becomes superspastic, but the overall vibe is a weird kind of active ambient experimental, blending together the perfect amount of interesting sounds and tones with an assertive yet soothing atmosphere. I really can't think of anything to compare this to, because it really has a sound of it's own. Listening to this record will make you think, it will make you laugh and it will make you smile. Overall this is just plain kickass experimental fun. Highly recommended.
