"Southwest" is a nice droney ambient record from Philip Sulidae. There is a heavy found sound/ field recording presence here, mixed with some very nice pads and textures. Phillip is able to wonderfully blend the ambience of everyday
life ( trains, static, wind sounds, whispered voices, etc) with the synthetic realm, and it's a very pleasant concoction indeed.

There are 5 tracks here, with the total album coming up to about 27 minutes. I don't really have a favorite track, as they all kind of blend together somewhat seamlessly, but in a good way, like you're at live show. This very nice stuff, it's like being in the middle of an organic ocean of sound, just kind of swaying along with the waves. It's very good stuff. If you enjoy ambient music, I suggest you download this now.
