Scaythe is a 3 piece outfit for this release, centered around the bands namesake, Thomas Scaythe. This self produced 14 track album is quite solid, and well constructed. Overall the tracks are well done, and quite good. There are some weak points that are common to self produced artists, such as places where the vocals need some tweaking, and a good mastering would bring out quite a lot more of the music.
It's a solid release, with some great songs on it. I particularly liked Scene, and Purity. Good synth work, arrangements are tight, and the guitar is not over powering and is integrated nicely.
